Adam Astra (AKA Adam of the Universe) is an American singer-songwriter and poet based out of Lawrence, KS. He is best known for his poetic lyrics and fingerstyle guitar playing. His work often explores themes of love, isolation, spirituality, truth, justice, evolution, and the cosmos.

Adam released his first E.P. ‘Welcome to the Universe, Vol. 1‘ in 2018. The E.P. includes four original songs, including: ‘This Invisible Ocean,’ ‘Kill Creek Moon,’ ‘Never Alone,’ and ‘The Cardinal.’

In addition to playing his original songs, Adam frequently covers songs by his favorite songwriters, including Leonard Cohen, Bob Dylan, Tom Waits and Townes Van Zandt. He shares recordings of many of these covers on his own YouTube channel.
